Day Care Programs

Day Care Programs

Day care programs runned by ICMC are after school programs. These are community based care programs. Children come to one of our local ICMC-planted churches after school, where they receive tutoring, a healthy meal, educational needs (such as stationery), and lessons from Scripture before returning to their families. This enables the church to interact with the communities and step in to prevent institutionalised care.

The Day Care centres offer a nutritious meal (often the only one they receive per day), educational support and tutoring, and any other ad hoc care. All our ICMC churches run like any local church in India, offering pastoral services, Day Care programs and other poverty relief programs, as well as Biblical teaching and Sunday services. At present we have 13 churches planted (seven of which have modest buildings that can conduct Day Care operations).

Through day care programs, it is easy to reach families with the Gospel since it not only helps the children but also the parents and the bigger community in which they live.
